Who We Are

In addition to maintaining long-term relationships with his clients, Marlyn enjoys speaking nationally and internationally about effective Time Management, Financial & Insurance Strategies, and Retirement & Estate Planning. He has been an active member of the Omaha Association of Life Underwriters since 1978 and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Marlyn also works with the estate planning professionals at the T.S. Bank's trust department, as well as the:

• Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce

• Omaha Chamber of Commerce

• Council Bluffs Estate Planning Council

When he is not sharing ideas and best practices with his colleagues, Marlyn gives back to his community. His firm is the title sponsor of the "MASTERS Classic" Golf Tournament, held each summer to benefit local charities, and he currently participates with:

• Deaf Missions (board member)

• Deaf Child Hope (board member)

• Church activities and missions

Marlyn has achieved numerous awards and accolades, including Lifetime membership in the Million Dollar Round Table.^* He is consistently named to the Court of the Table, most recently in 2013, and the prestigious Top of the Table, the highest status of MDRT membership, recognizing exceptional professional knowledge, client service and ethical conduct, most recently in 2011.

He also has earned the National Quality Award and the National Sales Achievement Award every year he has been in business.

Born and raised in Iowa, Marlyn resides in Council Bluffs with his wife, Diane. Between them they have three sons and seven grandchildren, and enjoy traveling, music, photography and sports - especially watching their grandkids participate in their various activities.
