Michael serves on the NAIFA-Nebraska Board as a past President, is a past President of the NAIFA-NE Heartland Association, and is a 2015 Graduate of the Leaders In Life Institute (LILI). When he is not sharing ideas and best practices with his clients and colleagues, Michael gives back to his community by serving as:

- Founding Chairman of the Nebraska Sportsman’s Foundation

Personal & Family
Michael resides in both Council Bluffs, Iowa and Gibbon, Nebraska to support his multiple office locations. He has three children and four grandchildren, and enjoys traveling, hunting, sports, and spending as much time as possible with his grandchildren.
Marlyn L. McClain
Marlyn L. McClain is the founder of MASTERS Financial & Insurance Group, L.L.C. He has been an agent with New York Life Insurance Company since 1970 and is one of only a handful of NYL agents to have achieved the celebrated Chairman's Council for over 30 consecutive years.

Shortly after joining New York Life, Marlyn worked in the Denver, CO, General Office as part of the management team. Realizing his true calling is working with clients to provide sophisticated estate and retirement planning techniques, Marlyn returned to Iowa in 1977 and hasn't slowed down since. His clients have rewarded this dedication to top quality, effective business practices with nearly 100% loyalty over the years.

In addition to maintaining long-term relationships with his clients, Marlyn enjoys speaking nationally and internationally about effective Time Management, Financial & Insurance Strategies, and Retirement & Estate Planning. He has been an active member of the Omaha Association of Life Underwriters since 1978 and is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Marlyn also works with the estate planning professionals at the T.S. Bank's trust department, as well as the:
- Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce
- Omaha Chamber of Commerce
- Council Bluffs Estate Planning Council
When he is not sharing ideas and best practices with his colleagues, Marlyn gives back to his community. His firm is the title sponsor of the "MASTERS Classic" Golf Tournament, held each summer to benefit local charities, and he currently participates with:

- Church activities and missions

Personal & Family
Born and raised in Iowa, Marlyn resides in Council Bluffs with his wife, Diane. Between them they have three sons and seven grandchildren, and enjoy traveling, music, photography and sports - especially watching their grandkids participate in their various activities.
